The county of Ilia on the western side of Peloponnisos is a region which is perfect for visiting anytime of the year. Each season brings with it new colours, aromas and scenery, making the region one with an ever-changing landscape.

Ilia is also home to one of the most important ancient sites in all of Greece - that of Ancient Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games, and where the Olympic flame is lit before every Olympic Games that take place.

The town of Zacharo ( Zaharo ) in Ilia is one which is the ideal place from which to be based in Ilia. Zacharo is accessible from Athens, Patras and Italy, and is the perfect destination for quite, family holidays.

It offers a very picturesque scenery, and makes travelling around to other regions in both Ilia and the Peloponnese very easy. You can visit sites such as the gorge of Neda, the ancient temple of Apollo, Lake Kaiafas and many more beautiful places during your stay here with us.

For your accommodation requirements when visiting Ilia, we wish to introduce you to "Elevyn's House", which is located approximately 1km from the main town of Zacharo. We have available a lovely selection of rooms and studios for your stay here in the Peloponnese.

We are located close to the beautiful beach of Zacharo, and in a location that has not been damaged from the devasting fires of 2007. The recently rebuilt spa at Lake Kaiafas is just 10km from us, and we can arrange special prices for visitors to the spa in the months of September and October.
